Paul Nation - Vocabulary Expert

Dear all,
I have uploaded an interview with Prof Paul Nation, a very well-known and respected figure in the field of linguistics. His expertise among all, covers the study of teaching and learning of vocabulary in second language.

Interview with the Vocabulary Learning Expert, Professor Paul Nation of Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

I, for one, was one of his students and was very proud of being one. The opportunity to learn and listen from him was a golden opportunity that comes once in a lifetime. Prof Nation was by far, an excellent teacher and was our all-time favourite Professor.

One of his famous work includes the SURVIVAL VOCABULARY, designed for people who do not speak the language of the country they travel in. This is especially handy for businessman and linguists who travel around the world for work purposes.

I am taking my hat off to Prof Paul Nation, and applaud him on his successful journey as a linguist. We have learnt so much from his passion and his legacy will be remembered and endure by many.

(Prof Paul Nation is currently working as an academic staff in School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies (LALS) in Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand).
