I was doing some shopping with Cikgu Hazlinah and Cikgu Maisarah in IOI Mall when Cikgu Hazlinah told me something about the game I had with the KRKrians.
"You know, Yuventhan didn't sell any of his medicine. Instead, he told the teachers to sign, give addresses and phone numbers and he'll delivered the medicine to them. He collected signatures by promising the delivery, not promoting the goodness of the medicine".
That little genius...I told the kids to promote the medicine and convince the teachers that the medicines are good. But Yuventhan has a different goal, collect as many signatures as possible and won the game. He was sure he has no real medicine to sell and so he changed his goal, because the group with most signatures won the game.
But I didn't disqualified his group when I found out. I think that's brilliant and super genius. He proves an educational theory; that students always make their own perception of things, regardless of whatever you tell them, which is why some schools in the West let the kids to explore the world themselves and try to make sense of things through observation rather than accepting whatever told to them.
Special thanks to Cikgu Hazlinah for letting me know...at least now I know I have a genius under my care. Good on you, Yuventhan, I love the idea. Hope you come out with more genius-like idea in the future, coz that makes you step out of your coccoon and think out of the box.
I couldn't help liking the idea very much. I didn't think of it myself. So I am personalising this posting for Yuventhan and his group. You are our super genius. I am glad to have you in our little KRK family of the school.
